Treatment of Historical Institutional Abuse payments in means-tested benefits

The Permanent Secretary has written to the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions who has issued a Ministerial Direction to disregard payments from Historical Institutional Abuse schemes in the calculation of means tested benefits.
