Published By GOV.UK [English], Fri, Apr 8, 2022 8:34 AM

To get a better understanding of how facial recognition technology in policing and law enforcement is seen, the Biometrics and Surveillance Camera Commissioner is planning to put facial recognition on trial.

Taking place before a live audience, the event will imitate a civil hearing with evidence being heard from expert witnesses and with members of the public acting as a jury.

Admission is free. Tickets will be released in the coming weeks, in the meantime you can register your interest via enquiries@obscc.org.uk.
