Letter to medicines and medical products suppliers: 3 August 2020

Published By GOV.UK [English], Mon, Dec 28, 2020 6:50 AM

The UK government and the European Commission have concluded their negotiations on the terms of trade between the 2 markets after the end of the transition period.

This does not remove any of the requirements to act now to prepare for new customs and border processes. The Department’s requests of industry set out in this letter remain valid and current.

This letter is written by Steve Oldfield, Chief Commercial Officer, on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).

It sets out the government’s plan and requests of industry and the wider supply chain ahead of the end of the transition period to help ensure the continuity of supply of medical goods into and out of the UK.
