Changes to the National Planning Policy Framework: letter to Planning Inspectorate

The Secretary of State the Rt Hon Robert Jenrick has written to Sarah Richards, Chief Executive of the Planning Inspectorate, regarding concerns raised by local authorities around a recent change to the National Planning Policy Framework. The letter sets out the government’s intention to publish updated planning practice guidance in response and clarifies how planning inspectors should handle this.
