Kidd v Musicians’ Union: Adjourned until further notice

The applicant made a complaint under 108A (1) of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 that the union breached its rule with regards to the eligibility criteria for the election of the General Secretary.

Singh v University College Union (UCU): 29 October 2020

The applicant made two complaints under 108A (1) of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992. Both Complaints are that the union breached its rules relating to the removal of Dr Singh from his position as the school representative at the Marylebone branch of the UCU.

Simpson v Unite the union: Postponed until further notice

The applicant made four complaints under 108A (1) of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992. Complaints 1-3 are that the union breached its rules relating to the disciplinary process. Complaint four is with regards to the applicant not being given access to the union’s accounting records and therefore breaching Section 30(2) of the Act.

Hussain v Communication Workers Union: Postponed until further notice

The applicant made five complaints that the Union breached its rules relating to elections at the South East No.5 Branch of the Union. The Certification Officer struck out complaints 2-5. Complaint 1 is to be heard.
