Bulb Energy Limited: consent to apply for a Special Administration Regime

Published By GOV.UK [English], Wed, Nov 24, 2021 2:14 PM

Following the insolvency of Bulb, the court has appointed energy administrators to continue running the company under what is called a Special Administration Regime (SAR).

Prior to applying to the court for a SAR, Ofgem wrote to the Business Secretary seeking his consent and setting out why a SAR is in the best interest of Bulb customers. This letter from the Business Secretary to Ofgem grants them consent to pursue a SAR.
