British Embassy Bangkok Remembrance Service at The British Club Sunday 14th November 2021

Due to Covid-19 and the current restrictions in place, the invitations for this years’ service will be issued on a tier based system. The tiers will be determined by maximum numbers of people allowed to congregate in Bangkok according to CCSA regulations. As the numbers of people allowed to congregate change there will be a corresponding change to the tier level. The current tier will be displayed on the website. Registration is only via You will be able to register once your eligible tier level has been reached.

Tier Levels 1 - 3 limit attendance to under 100 and invitations will be issued on an individual name basis only. The tier level will be clearly marked on the invitation.

Tier Level 4 will be reached if the CCSA regulations allow more than 100 people to congregate and will be capped at the maximum number according to CCSA regulations.

Registration for the general public will only be opened once we reach Tier Level 4. As the tier is tied to the Covid-19 situation, tier levels can go down as well as up which may impact your attendance. Attendance will be according to the tier level on the day of service not the day of registration. For example, a Tier 3 attendee will not be eligible to attend if the tier level drops down to tier level 1 or 2 on 14 Nov 21 irrespective of the tier level at time of registration. You are therefore strongly advised to check the tier level on this website before traveling.

We appreciate that this may cause some disappointment for those not able to attend, and ask for your understanding given the current circumstances. Please do not try and register your attendance until your eligible tier level is displayed on this website. Also, please do not turn up at the British Club on the day if you are not eligible to attend and/or have not registered. You WILL NOT be granted access to the premises. There is no flexibility in this.
