World-Leading Board Appointments For Cambridge BioTech Startup CodiKoat

[Cambridge, United Kingdom] - CodiKoat are pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Howard MBE (Chair of British Chambers of Commerce) and Professor Seeram Ramakrishna to our board of directors.
The appointment of two renowned leaders to CodiKoat’s board further demonstrates the considerable potential for our groundbreaking technology.
As a successful entrepreneur and business owner, Sarah’s leadership and experience will be invaluable to CodiKoat moving forward.
Sarah holds several commercial and voluntary non-exec roles including Jaynic, a property company and Abbeycroft, a large not for profit leisure trust. She was appointed Chair of the British Chambers of Commerce in October 2019.
Sarah’s knowledge of the UK and international markets and track record of increasing turnover under her tutelage will be crucial to CodiKoat as we move towards commercialisation in 2022.
Professor Seeram Ramakrishna is recognised globally as a scientific pioneer. He is one of the most cited scientists in the world, and is considered one of the leading experts relating to materials science, nanotechnology and sustainability.
Gaining a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Cambridge, he honed his business acumen by graduating from The General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
He currently holds senior roles with a number of leading universities, including as Director for the Center for Nanotechnology and Sustainability at the National University of Singapore.
Seeram has contributed significantly to the development of nanotechnologies and their research techniques. It is here where his vast knowledge and experience will prove most valuable for CodiKoat.
