Social landlord Coastline Housing, based in Cornwall, has appointed Andy Moore and Karen Harris to its Board.
Andy Moore has worked in Housing for more than 40 years including over 20 years’ experience as Chief Executive with Penwith Housing Association. He has acted as Chair of a number of organisations and partnerships including the National Housing Federation South West Regional Committee, West Cornwall Local Strategic Partnership and Penwith Community Development Trust. He is currently a Trustee of St Piran's Hall and President of Hayle Runners. Andy is a Non-Executive Director for the Hastoe Housing Group and Parish Councillor for Perranuthnoe Parish Council.
Andy is passionate about creating vibrant communities where people want to live. He says: “I am looking forward to working with Coastline in building and supporting Cornish communities.”
Karen Harris is a qualified accountant with many years’ experience as a Senior Executive with responsibility for Finance, IT and HR functions within international financial services. She is Chair of Counselling and Benefit Support Limited and Duchy Opera Trust Limited, both local charities. Karen is also Treasurer of Cornwall Independent Poverty Forum, Perran Community Support, Kenwyn with St Allen PCC and All Saints Highertown PCC.
Karen says: “I am interested in, and keen to give my support to, the work Coastline is doing in helping its customers thrive within their communities.”
Coastline is an independent, charitable housing association owning and managing almost 5,000 homes in Cornwall. The charity also operates a homeless service, offering help to those who are rough sleeping in Cornwall, and an Extra Care scheme in Redruth.
