URGENT APPEAL – PIPER STILL NEEDS A FOSTER HOME! CAN YOU HELP?

Poor piper came in with a broken jaw and urgently needs a foster home

We have a very special dog in our care, Piper.

Piper is a 6 month old German Shepherd who was found abandoned with a broken jaw and extremely underweight. When Piper came in she was understandably a little nervous. She is very friendly and your typical puppy – bouncy and very loving! Given what she has been through, it’s amazing to see how happy she is.

Piper has undergone emergency surgery on her lower jaw due to the fracture and now has a metal external frame work which you can see in the photo.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Not only will Piper have an extensive vet bill but she is also in need of a foster home! Her foster home requirements are below:

- A quiet home to help aid her recovery

- No other pets – this is essential to ensure she rests as she is very playful, even the calmest dogs will encourage her to try and play!

- Vet or nurse experience would be desirable but not essential, as long as you are able to help with her medical requirements

- Local to the centre – she will need to come in for regular vet visits

- Someone home all day to provide her with the care and attention she needs.

If you meet the requirements and would like to help please complete a perfect match form here: are also asking for donations to support her medical care and costs. We posted about Piper last week on our social media page and with your support we have raised over £500! We still need help!

If you can help support Piper and her medical costs you can do so with the following:

- TEXT ‘HELPPIPER’ to 70450 to donate £3 (Text costs £3 plus 1 standard rate message. To opt out of marketing content text ‘helppipernoinfo’)

- Donate directly on our WESBITE here; SPONSOR Piper from as little as £10 a month here:
