NEWHAVEN, UK – (26th April, 2022) – The new apg®, formerly APG Cash Drawer®, a leading global manufacturer of best-in-class cash management solutions and POS peripherals in more than 90 countries introduced today an unprecedented, patent pending all-in-one point of sale cable management solution called The ArchitectTM.
The Architect is a revolution in POS cable management solutions and created in collaboration with Epson® and Ergonomic Solutions and designed exclusively for the Minota® Cash Drawer.
The system helps to boost business efficiency with extensive cable management routing, hiding a variety of interface cables and peripheral power supplies. The reduced cable clutter at the retail checkout adds to an enhanced customer experience while helping retailers simplify their day-to-day operations.
The Architect integrates the Epson TM-m30 POS receipt printer and POS mounting solutions from Ergonomic Solutions with apg’s Minota cash drawer. The sleek design supports a modern tablet-based or touch screen POS environment for specialty or hospitality retail. Manufactured with a clean, stylish molded plastic, and steel construction, the Minota cash drawer is both secure and lightweight. The Epson printer delivers robust connectivity, data communication and tablet charging in a sleek, compact, modern design. Additional mounting accessories with specific configurations to integrate with the Architect system, are available from from Ergonomic Solutions.
