The Eyesi® Slit Lamp is a high-end diagnostic training system for optometrists, ophthalmologists and other slit lamp users. Its virtual reality technology is integrated into the original hardware of the Haag-Streit BQ 900 slit lamp model and offers all functions of a real slit lamp.

Offering familiar movement and control, the Eyesi® Slit Lamp simulator perfectly replicates the movements of a real slit lamp. Trainees can examine virtual patients with a wide selection of clinical examples using the biomicroscope and fundoscopy lens. A wide array of control settings are available, such as slit width and length, inclination and rotation of the slit beam and the introduction of filters. The simulator now also offers fundoscopy training as part of its retinal slit lamp examinations.

With a database of more than 150 virtual patients, the integrated courseware fosters a solid foundation of diagnostic skills, from basic device operation, through to the diagnosis of more complex clinical cases. Immediate and objective feedback after every task allows trainees to gain valuable experience and improve their slit lamp skills.
