AAC Waterproofing has donated £250 to help a local food bank in Fylde as part of their community support scheme
Leading flat roof contractors, AAC Waterproofing has donated £250 to help a local food bank in Fylde as part of their community support scheme.
AAC Waterproofing, have been providing installation of single-ply membranes and repair services to new and refurbished commercial properties across the North West for over 40 years and has always strived to give back and support the local communities that it works in. Their innovative community support scheme further cements their commitment to giving back while also helping clients to donate to charities and organisations they are passionate about.
The scheme sees AAC donate up to £250 for one project they complete each month. The destination of this donation is decided by the chosen client, and it can be anything from a local charity or food bank to even sponsorship of a local community sports team.
Launched in September, AAC is delighted to announce the 3rd charity chosen is Fylde Foodbank in St. Annes thanks to the recommendation from their client, the Church of England Pensions Board.
Paul Smith, Scheme Manager, at the Church of England Pensions Board, said “We have chosen Fylde Food Bank as we’ve worked closely with this charity for several years collecting food and domestic items for distribution to the wider community.
We have a resident here who collects the items over several weeks from both residents and staff and delivers them directly. They have done some amazing work over the years in the local communities, and we are very proud to be associated with them.
I would like to add, how great this gesture is by AAC Waterproofing and thank them for allowing us to nominate this charity”.
