Lemonade by LEMONICA was established in Kanazawa,Japan in 2017. The city is well-known for its culture, crafts, and cuisine and often affectionately called “Little Kyoto”. The owner Seiji spent several years perfecting the drink recipe and finally opened his first store in 2017. It didn’t take long before long queues started forming at the store as the drink grew in popularity. Sourcing fresh lemons in their best condition from around the world and hand processing each lemon kept regular customers happy and drew in new crowds eager to try the natural and wholesome beverage.

The business quickly expanded and as of July 2022, there are almost 100 LEMONICA shops across Japan.

Also it's with estimated 5 million cups of its lemonade consumed in Japan in 2021 and a typical LEMONICA kiosk sell two to three hundred cups of lemonade a day.

We have been expanding its franchise operations outside Japan for some time and in order to evaluate the viability of investment into the UK market, it will challenge popup shop in London in July and August 2022.You’ll be able to taste the special lemonade at our London store.
