GvHD Hub | Quarter Four 2020 Update

Published By Pressat [English], Wed, Jan 20, 2021 12:26 PM

The GvHD Hub is an open-access online resource that disseminates clinical updates and provides balanced, credible, and up-to-date medical education on graft-versus-host disease (GvHD). It is guided by an international steering committee of world-leading experts in GvHD and run in partnership with the European LeukemiaNet. Despite challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hub has been further expanding its social media presence and engaging with the global community on all major social networks, helping to improve everyday clinical practice.

In October, the GvHD Hub presented a new editorial theme, Latest advances in microbiome interventions, and in November, an engaging virtual meeting with the Steering Committee was held. The educational focus for the first half of 2021 will be on new therapies for chronic GvHD and novel consensus guidelines.

In December, the GvHD Hub covered key presentations from the 62nd American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting and Exposition virtually via Twitter, conducted interviews with key experts in the field, and published articles on the relevant sessions presented at this major congress.

The GvHD Hub is facilitated by Scientific Education Support (SES). SES are experts in building communities and networks, and love nothing more than providing independent medical education to enhance the level of collective knowledge and awareness in a disease area.

The GvHD Hub would like to thank Silver supporters Incyte and Novartis for their continued support of the initiative.
