Ayr Architecture firm announce brand overhaul and release details of recent larger-scale projects

Denham Youd - formerly Denham Benn - have announced a company rebrand and released details on a range of exciting new projects, with a change of seat for their Architect Director, Chris Youd.

The rebrand has been an excellent opportunity for Managing Director, Steven Denham, and Chris to merge their years of design knowledge and experience to form a strong partnership that will steer the business towards larger-scale projects, allowing them to offer their services to even more clients across Scotland and beyond.

Since joining the practice in 2017, Chris has made a huge impact and contributed significantly to the growth of the business and its reputation. With three highly experienced architects operating out of the practice, they’ve been able to take on several Architectural Assistants as well as Technologists to nurture and evolve, providing them with a fresh take on design processes and technologies. Having this diverse pool of talent means they can continue producing bigger, better and more innovative designs for their new and existing clients.

In the past three months, Denham Youd have secured several large contracts working with companies in the commercial, community, and affordable housing sectors. They have also grown their portfolio significantly in the distillery industry, having completed designs for well-known spaces on the mainland as well as Isles of Barra and Arran respectively.

“These new developments are the result of years of hard work which has enabled us to take this next step,” Steven said. “With Chris on board, we feel well-placed to take the business to a higher level and showcase ourselves alongside some well-established national design practices who have inspired and driven us on our journey to getting where we are today.
