London, UK. 11:FS, the challenger consultancy defining and building truly digital financial services, today announced that its co-founder, Simon Taylor, will lead product strategy for 11:FS Foundry to drive the product roadmap and introduce further drops that help businesses add fintech to their offerings.

Earlier this month 11:FS Foundry released the first in a series of drops, 11:Money, a pre-configured deposit account. Future planned drops include BNPL, loans, and personal money management.

Up to now Simon has been leading client engagements for the 11:FS consultancy business, building challenger banks for NatWest and Standard Chartered and others. He is widely recognised as one of the world's leading fintech experts, and is also a judge of the Tech Nation fintech programme.

Before co-founding 11:FS Simon was Head of Blockchain R+D at Barclays, where he developed an innovative financial crime prevention policy for Barclays, and became a trusted advisor to the Treasury, the Bank of England and the FCA.

David M. Brear, CEO of the 11:FS Group and co-founder said: “Our product and market strategy for 11:FS Foundry couldn’t be in better hands. The opportunity for traditional banks, neobanks and non-banks to add new financial products and scale their offerings at speed is significant. Simon has precisely the right level of in-depth market and customer knowledge to help us develop 11:FS Foundry even further.”

Simon Taylor, CPO of 11:FS Foundry and co-founder said: “No one else is doing what 11:FS Foundry is doing, and the opportunity to take our Financial Services Operating System to the next level is extremely exciting.”
