The right to information when taking fingerprints

FRA discussed with the Eurodac Supervision Coordination Group future cooperation activities and how best to dissemination its guide for authorities on their duty to inform when taking fingerprints.

The group consists of one representative of each Member State's data protection authority and the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS). National data protection authorities supported the translation of the leaflet. The meeting took place on 26 November.
