FRA has just released key findings from its consultation with its Fundamental Rights Platform on the impact of COVID-19 measures on the work of human rights civil society.

Three out of four civil society organisations considered that the impact of COVID-19 measures on their operations and activities had been negative. Their main challenges included difficulties to ensure continuity in providing services, financial difficulties, reduced access to decision-makers, psychological impact on staff and volunteers, and practical challenges such as restriction of access to beneficiaries, cancellation of events.

Some 177 organisations responded to the consultation. The consultation took place in November 2020.
