EIGE salutes Lenita Freidenvall for the end of her mandate as EIGE’s Management Board Chair and welcomes new Management Board members for 6th term

Lenita Freidenvall’s mandate as an esteemed member and Chair of EIGE’s Management Board has come to a close.

It is our great pleasure to thank her - on behalf of the whole Institute - for her hard work and commitment to EIGE’s mission. We wish her all the best in her future endeavours and look forward to following her next projects.

As EIGE’s management board reached the end of its 5th term on 31 May 2022, we would also like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to new colleagues who will join our (rotating) board of 18 Member States and 1 representative of the European Commission.

Members from Hungary, Poland, Denmark, Cyprus, Ireland, Lithuania, Greece, Italy and Latvia will join the current board. In its first meeting in June, the Management Board will elect a Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson to guide EIGE’s work programme for the next 3 years.
