ARLEM at the third UfM Ministerial Conference on Energy

On 14 June 2021, ARLEM member and CoR rapporteur Vincenzo Bianco (IT/PES) participated at the third UfM Ministerial Conference on Energy. He highlighted the key role of local and regional authorities in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (including on energy) also as regards the mobilisation of citizens and emphasised their commitment in the Global Covenant of Mayors.
The CoR opinion on "Renewed partnership with the Southern Neighbourhood – a new agenda for the Mediterranean" which Mr Bianco puts forward as a rapporteur is scheduled for adoption in the CoR plenary session on 30 June-2 July 2021.
